'Resilience' - a stunning 10 inch stained glass disc, created using the Tiffany foiling technique to allow the flowing curves and organic design, and framed in a traditional lead border.

Inspired by the 'lightning tree' found in Dale Bottom, nr Keswick in the Lake District, the tree is a symbol of survival and resilience. with the lightning-struck, weathered trunk still rooted in the surrounding landscape and providing shelter to local wildlife.

Using a combination of reclaimed, vintage and modern glass this piece not only reflects the tree in design but in essence too - a mix of traditional and contemporary enduring craft.

Created exclusively for the 'Art in The Pen' Exhibition, to be held in Skipton August 15th & 16th 2026, but now also available as a Limited Edition Pre-order via the online store.

Only 10 pieces will be created in total, each unique due to the variations in glass textures and tone. Available displayed in a beautiful sleek powder-coated black stand, or to be hung in a window (or both).

Pre-orders will be dispatched 4 weeks from ordering, and after the work's launch at Skipton (so no sooner than the 17th August).
