Festive Decoration Class - ENNERDALE

Service Description

Come join me at the Gather in Ennerdale for 3 hours of festive fun and learning new skills, creating something that will last for decades and you can cherish year after year when decorating your home or as a gift. This workshop is suitable for beginners or those who have worked with glass before, as there are a plethora of designs to choose from! Over the morning or afternoon, I will explain how you can cut, shape and join together stained glass using traditional heritage skills. As these workshops are limited to 6 people, you can be assured you will still be able to receive one to one tuition at every step of the process, whilst being surrounded by friends or family if you wanted to come as a group. During this workshop, you can expect to create one or two decorations depending on the complexity of the design you choose...... Will you make a star, angel, Christmas tree, bauble or even maybe a festive Herdwick sheep!! I have a choice of designs ready drawn for you to copy, or you are more than welcome to design your own. All materials, safety equipment and tools are included. Please ensure that long hair is tied back and you wear closed toes shoes, and as there are aspects of close up work, please bring your glasses if required! Suitable for anyone aged 16 years and over. Only two festive decoration sessions will be available for 2026 at Ennerdale.
