National Chopper Club Commemorative Regalia

A pre-holidays commission / challenge! As part of the 50th anniversary celebrations of the @nationalchopperclub, one of it's members asked me to convert their commemorative logo into a stained glass window hanging, measuring approx 6.5" square.

I don't think it turned out half bad 😍 (see photo 2 for the original vs my design).
I love the creative process of converting ideas into patterns that are glass 'compatible' and then playing with textures, colour and painting techniques to bring them to life! Here, I've used a combination of amber reclaimed glass, golden english muffle and hand painted and fired the intricate details of the cyclist.

As this logo is trade marked, it was created with permission of the original designer. And I'm delighted to say that this piece is now available as an exclusive item in the National Chopper Club regalia!!!
